Information Designer Roles and Responsibilities

In this lesson, we had to look at a tool which could help us understand what my role of being an Information Designer is. It explained the different IE skills needed, our role and responsibilities and examples of cool information graphics that we eventually need to be able to do.

I did the first task of the Planning & Research skill, the link is here:

The Role & Responsibilities of an Information Designer-
- Representing information clearly in a creative way
- To support the director in background research
- Identify suitable information that can be presented in the final documentary
- Making charts, statistics, infographics, timelines etc.

From this I understood that my role is to...
- Do research on our documentary topic, and to;
- Present our research in a creative way which includes making infographics, timelines and charts which will be then be put into the final documentary
