Research Existing Examples of Information Presentation
This was section three of the P&R skill. I accidentally did this task before section two, the link is here:https://isle.island.edu.hk/course/view.php?id=1390§ion=3
In this task, we were put to research existing examples of information graphics and information presentations. I used the diigo boards available on ISLE to help me build my Bundlr below. This Bundlr includes links to information graphic examples. These mostly are in a video format because they are tutorials on how to do this. However, I have found out that some of the tools that these videos are using are not free, meaning that it will be harder for me to actually do this properly.

Information Graphic Skills and Examples
After that, my task was to find my own example of a graphic that can be effective in our presentation. I did this my Google searching some cool infographics that I like and putting this together in a Pinterest. I used Pinterest instead for this task because I wasn't able to put images onto a Bundlr
Pinterest board on some examples of different information graphics:

These two graphics I think inspired me the most...
I can use this idea by making something similar to this but splitting the plate up into sections like a pie chart to show what percentage of what people are hungry or malnourished etc.
This graphic led me thinking that I could represent my data with a symbol like a spoon or a fork or even a plate instead of water droplets or people as seen here. I can also represent my data by the size of objects instead of the number as well.
All the graphics that I find together enhance the communication in a way. This is because, as the presentation is better, more people will be attracted to it. For example the use of colour can help people notice important information meaning that they will actually be bothered to read. Since it has enhanced communication, it is also a way to raise awareness about the issue of hunger.
This same thought can be applied to our documentary: as the presentation is better, communication can be enhanced meaning that more people will understand our issue and awareness is raised.
